The Dynamic Multiaxial Fixator is a single plan, ball-jointed external fixator, provides perfect stability and ensures an early mobilization chance
Indications
The Dynamic Multi-Axial Fixator (DAF) is indicated to,
Treatment of the pediatric femur and tibia fractures,
Deformity corrections,
Joint stiffness,
Articular and periarticular fractures of distal radius,
Acute trauma cases.
Features
The ball-joint structure connects the clamp to the fixator body as an articular structure and allows the final reduction after the implantation of the fixator.
The Fixators Schanz Screw Holder Clamps have five slots for the Schanz screws. Dynamic axial loading is made possible by a telescoping device.
Its versatility permits simple angular adjustment.
If needed, in some fixator application that bridges the joint, the fixator allows the joint mobilization.
The ball-joint designs of the fixator products are not the same. But all of them are based on the Camshaft-Bushing system and when the system is squeezed, the positions of the bone screws are fixed.
Simple angular adjustment provides an opportunity to move 30° in all planes.
A full turn of the DC unit allows 1 mm movement.
